The ICA library is a wonderful collection of music that has been especially written or arranged for the concertina. Much of the collection has come to the ICA through the generous donations of players and their families. While the majority of the library dates from the 19th and early 20th Century, please don’t let this put you off as there are some wonderful tunes and arrangements for you to discover. As you will see from the A-Z listings, we have music arranged for players of English (baritone, tenor and tenor-treble) and duet systems; we also have some arrangements for playing in parts. Anglo players can often play arrangements for the English concertina, but Duet pieces can be more difficult as they are written in both the treble and bass cleff. |
